Fantasy Films Adventures - Two By Two (9)

That night after the performance at the dive Leo, Benny, Johnny and Rae, along with Xiro's group and the Predators, held a meeting up in the human section with Noah and his family. Naama gave Noah some tea as Leo began to explain that happened over the last few days.

"If me and Benny have guessed right, the six of you have been chosen for a great task to protect the innocent" said Leo.
"The innocent?" Wolfgang said confused.
"He means the animals,” Xiro explained.
"But why are we innocent?" Cachito said puzzled.
"Because even though mankind had fallen to sin, you and the other animals still live as you did in the garden," Noah replied.

"Yes" Benny said, "and it seems that heaven had chosen the six of you as their champions for light."
"But what about us?" Japheth asked.
"Because of your father's faith in God, he gave him and you a second chance to start again in a new and better world.”
"But first we are going to need to prepare" Rae said as everyone looked puzzled.
Below in the animal hold, the group followed the four to an old unused room as Benny took out a special pencil and started to draw something on the blank back of Leo’s scroll.
"A great storm is coming. The forces of light will clash with the forces of darkness, and the ark will be the battleground. We need to prepare for the coming storm. We need to get to work,” the beast said as he finished drawing and bringing to life a working forge.

Days passed as Benny and Leo remained hard at work creating armor and weapons not for war or evil, but to fight for the light. At the same time, Rae and Johnny trained their new friends in the magical arts of combat. Soon the day came the new equipment was ready.
For Xiro, Leo prepared a full set of Crusader armor complete with a sword and shield. For Dagnino, Benny constructed a full set of Barbarian armor with a pair of twin axes. For Panthy, Johnny gave her a set of Demon hunter armor with a pair of hand crossbows. Rae gave Bruma a set of monk armor with the staff she made. For Teresa Benny made her witch doctor armor with a nice set of daggers. Finally for Kairel, Leo made her a full wizard armor set complete with a staff.

Meanwhile below in the furthest depths of the ark, two demons were guarding a door and having a talk.

"I don't understand why the boss placed us in charge of his cabin," said one of the demons.
"Maybe because he is preparing the ritual for the attack on this boat, “ said the other demon. “Don't know how that old bloke managed to build this in the first place"
Suddenly, two arrows seemingly from out of nowhere hit them.
"Ah nuts" the first demon said as the two demons disappeared like an old video game villain.

"Not bad from a panther you laughed at" Panthy said as she blew some smoke from the crossbow as Dagnino and the Predators mouths hanged open as Benny popped them back into place she fired from. Coco managed to break down the door, and then the group entered the room to find a strange chamber full of books and artifacts.

"Whoa! look at all these books!” Leo exclaimed as he looked through the spells. “They are full of spells that a dark sorcerer would feel at home with." .
"Athena where are you!" Dagnino called out.
"Wait! Who's Athena?" Johnny asked.

"Athena is the name of Dagnino's original mate,” Teresa replied. “She disappeared a few days ago before we arrived."
Xiro was searching through the bookshelves until he finds something.

"Hey guys! Check this out!" Xiro called as he presented a book with a spell in it.
"What is it?" Wolfgang asked as they looked at the spell.
"It's a spell called The Ragnarok Storm. It's like the storm that covered the entire world in water and is powerful enough the sink the ark!"
"Then it's all important to find and stop Anubis!" Bruma said.
"And save the ark as well!" Kairel added.
Just then everyone heard a noise outside
"What was that!" Johnny said in alarm as everyone headed outside and saw something that made their tails shake. "Oh bubble nuggets!" Johnny said alarmed

An army of demons were below them with them was a hooded figure chanted a spell. Green energy flowed through a massive portal.

"What the heck is he feeding?" Rae asked.
Leo studied the portal and replied, "Large diameter in the portal, feeds on a huge amount of life force, demon of the burning hells…I'm guessing on the lines of a rank 5 giant, maybe 6"
The hooded figure raised his hand getting everyone's attention. The figure takes off the hood reveal a tanned muscular but pulsating man with dirty blonde hair, red eyes, and a jewel embedded to his forehead. His clothing consisted of a black cape attached to spiked padding, which were held by strings, along with gray shoulder pads, black pants, and a glass pyramid hanging around his neck.

"It's him. It's Anubis!" Cachito quietly said as the group watched the events unfolding before them.

"My brethren, it will soon begin. The death of all things will come from the heavens!" Anubis called out to the demons. "The storm I will shortly unleash will be sent to wash all of creation from the face of this world. But you--my solders of Darkness--we will decide to live or die for our masters of the Burning Hells. We will crush our enemies and be invincible!"
Anubis rallied the Demons
"DO YOU WANT TO LIVE!" He shouted
The demons roared, "We kill the Gemkeepers! We kill Noah!"
"WE TAKE THE ARK!" Anubis roared as the demons roared as well as the group looked terrified.

"Come on!" We got to warn Noah of the attack!" Benny whispered to the others as they quickly got away without being seen.
