Fantasy Films Adventures - Two by Two (11)

A flash of lighting illuminated across the sky as this group of monsters towered over the group. Benny ordered Noah, his family and the other animals to fall back into the ark as the only ones left out on the deck were the four friends along with Xiro, Kairel, Dagnino, Teresa, Bruma, Panthy, Xiro's Friends and the Predators about to make a final stand against Anubis thinking quickly Xiro threw his sword at Anubis in the hope to injure him but it bounced off as it flew back to the young king.

"You fools!” Anubis laughed. “Watch as your last line of defense is torn apart before your eyes. Sphinx Teleia it is feeding time!"
The Giant sphinx with a red mane roared and charged at the group. Surprising, a magical barrier blocked Sphinx Teleia's attack
"What the?" Johnny said puzzled.
"Seize them!” Anubis shouted angrily as the demons turned to face the group. “I must absorb the gemkeeper's power!"
"Run for it!" Cachito said panicked as the group ran for their lives.
They encountered more demons until the group was trapped.

"What do we do?!" Rae said panicked.
"SOMEONE!" "HELP US PLEASE!" Leo cried desperately.
All of a sudden, time began to slow and continued until it came to a complete standstill. The group stared curiously at the demons frozen in place. A bright light shined and before them was none other than God and the Angiris Council.
"Lord we need your help!" Johnny cried.
"Our attacks didn't even make a dent in Anubis, “Rae pleaded, “and still we have not found the six gems of Noah's Ark!"

"Your weapons alone will not defeat Anubis, “ God said calmly, “but combined with the six gems you will be powerful enough to stop him and save creation. The symbols I sent to Noah were the keys to finding them" God explained as Johnny got annoyed
"Seriously just tell us what to do!" Johnny annoyingly shouted.
"You will understand in time young one, you will understand" God repeated
He and the Angiris Council left, and then time sped up again as the demons grabbed each member of the group and presented them to Anubis.

"Now that you are in my grasp, I will now claim what is mine" Anubis said as he took in a huge breath and blew dark-blue fire at the group.
"We're Fried" Wolfgang said in fear.
As the fire came crashing down on them, a magical barrier protected them as some of the fire got into Anubis' eyes. He cried out in pain seeing what had happened. Xiro remembered God's words and realized something.

"That's it!" Xiro cried. “Bombay, create a cloud of smoke.”
“How do you expect me to..?” Bombay because to asked before Johnny handed the Orangutan a smoke-bomb.
“Will this do?”
Using the Smoke-bomb Bombay created a smoke-cloud to hide everyone as they made their escape. The demons were too busy coughing from the smoke to chase after them.

"The six gems have been us!" Xiro exclaimed. "It's always have been us!"
“What are you talking about?" Coco said confused.

"Remember when that barrier protected us?” Bruma explained. “It was when the six of us stood together."
"The trials and tests we have endured our Courage, Friendship, Sincerity, Hope, Knowledge and Love triumphed throughout them," Kairel added.
"And that's something those monsters can't take from us!" Dagnino said. He noticed his axes beginning to glow, as was Xiro’s sword and Panthy's Cross-bows, Teresa's Daggers and Kairel's and Bruma's Staffs.
"Now let's do this!" Xiro said with confidence as he looked at his friends.

The group appeared from their hiding place from behind the tower.
"That pyramid!” Patricio said as he eyed the glass pyramid around Anubis’ neck. “It must be Anubis power source!"

"If we destroy that, it may shatter his lifeline" Benny added.
Anubis over heard them. "They must not approach the Pyramid of Light. Stop them!" He said as the demons started to advance towards them.

"Guys as a team, let's do this!" Rae shouted.

The group charged back into battle. Xiro's friends fought Wolfbane and the Predators fought the demon bear. Leo, Benny, Johnny and Rae fought aggressively against Andro Sphinx and Sphinx Teleia. They pounces and slashed from every direction, and which each strike Sphinx Teleia and Andros Sphinx became weaker. Eventually, the four laid a finishing blow to the legs of the two great beasts and rendered them unable to stand. This gave, Xiro, Kairel, Panthy, Bruma, Dagnino and Teresa the opening they needed.
"Finish it guys!" Johnny cried out.

The six combined their attack into one and in one blow. The pyramid shattered freeing the souls that were trapped in it. Anubis cried out in agony as all of the demons were being sucked into a portal created by the pyramid's destruction. Everyone grabbed onto the wooden railing of the Ark to prevent themselves from being sucked in as well. Then with one last roar Anubis was forcefully pulled into his own portal, ending the sorcerer's life as well.

A final crash of thunder rolled as the rain stopped and the clouds dispersed. The group looked up and saw the spirits of Athena, King Sabu, Queen Oriana and the followers of God smiling at them. They each expressed their thanks to the animals for freeing them. With that, they disappeared into the night sky among the stars.

"You’re welcome" Dagnino called out to his old mate. He shed a tear, knowing he would never see her again. Teresa held his arm and smiled at him. He smiled back, and for a new journey for Dagnino, his friends – both old and new – was just beginning.
