Leo's Ark - Prologue

It was a typical afternoon at the LionKingHeart FantasyFilms studio.  Benny the Beast was in the kitchen of the main building.  He was getting a bottle of bottled water from the refrigerator.  When he came into the living room with his beverage, Benny saw his daughter Mackenzie and the other cubs looking bored and fed up.

“Hey, kids,” said Benny.  “Why the long faces?”
“We’re bored, dad,” Mackenzie replied.

“There’s nothing else to do around here since we finished up our homework,” added L.S.
“How about a game of Snakes and Ladders?” asked Benny.
“We played that already,” said Alexis.

“We also played Cluedo, Monopoly, Operation and every card game under the sun,” added Danny.

“I even did a crossword puzzle,” said Ruby. “I don’t even like crossword puzzles.”
“What about your video games?” asked Benny.
“We beaten them all,” said Tig.

“Even the newer ones,” added Lightning.
"Looks like the January Blues are setting in" said Benny as he looked around the living room.  On top of a book shelf, he saw a model of Noah’s Ark.  This gives him an idea.

“Then how about a story?” he asked.
“Why kind of a story, Uncle Benny?” asked Danielle.

“Well, it’s story that Leo's Parents told him when he was a little cub.  It’s his favorite story of all time and since he told it to me i think i should pass it own to you.”

Benny walked over to the bookshelf and reached for his copy of the Bible.  However, he thought about going with a more imaginative approach.  So instead, he moved his paw toward a different book and took it off the shelf.  This book had a shiny, rainbow-like cover.

“But I’d like to tell it to you in a different way,” Benny continued as he sat down and opened the book.  The cubs all gathered around Benny to listen.  “This is about one of  the world’s very first heroes in history, and his story began a long, long time ago when the land was one bit super continent…”
