RTT Epilogue / Re-Launch of The Titanic
May 31, 1981, almost a year since the Titanic was raised. The day of the float out had come at last and it was a great timing for it was on the same day as the ship's 70th birthday. She was not yet fully restored to working order for she was in need of other fittings to complete her and was soon to be recommitted with her rechristening. Thanks to the invitations, there were thousands of people that had turned out to witness this historic event. TV, Newsreel and press cameras had turned out in force, including a number from Britain and France and in other parts of Europe. Great excitement was building up to near fever pitch. The massive curtai

For the remainder of the day and into the night, inspections made to the Titanic were taken carefully, making sure that the liner was to be ready for the day of it's floating as part of the re-launching ceremony.
May 30, 1981. Final inspections for engineers to check on the ship's waterline were carried out. It took several hours but they came back with good results, meaning that the Titanic was ready to be floated.
"It will be very exciting and we feel proud of it too, after all the hard work that's been put into it," said Matthew Anderson, already getting a sense of what was to come. "Of course it will be a nice day tomorrow and for us to

Two days passed by really quickly. Within those forty eight hours, the restoration of the Titanic had been carried out and gone to plan, even though the restoration project still had a long way to go before coming to fruition. The decision had been made secretly to give her a new scheme for the occasion but no one knew just what it was for it was part of the surprise.

As the sun rose over the city, Daniel was still asleep. Throughout the night, he slept well and getting great visions of the new career that the Titanic was to have, something that she didn't have during her first brief life. As he started to wake up, he felt something in his hands pressing against something.
"What an earth am I touch, it's big, yet soft but very squashy." he thought.
A faded soft moan followed after that made him open his eyes and there was Olympic leaning over him, using him as a cuddling pillow.
"HOLY CRAP! WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?!" Daniel said with a start of utter shock and surprise, almost falling out the bed.

By the end of April, the refurbishing of the Titanic was coming on smoothly for most of the interiors had been completely removed and empty now awaited their new contents. While this had been happening, back over in England, designers had brought new plans to update the ship's cabins to try and match with current times of shipping and passenger travel. The project of the restoration was on track and so far looking very promising in being completed sooner than anyone had first thought. While all this was happening, hundreds of young men were undergoing training to work as Titanic's new crew but by working on smaller ships to work their way sl

A few days passed by. Over in the docks of Southampton where RMS Olympic was being laid up, a press conferences, led by Daniel Stewart, was being held inside the slightly improved Grand Staircase, which had more space, a wider glass dome and the original oak panelling was replicated with veneers, which were layers of wood used to make plywood, as were the detailed carvings were used along with paintings and similar looking bronze cherubs and candelabra. Later in the Grand Staircase, everyone gathered on what had gone wrong on finding the byzanium. Titanic, however, was very concerned about it's use for she still didn't understand what the whole situation was all about, even thought she had been told by Kane Smith a few times.
"What did you plan to do with the byzanium if you and the others had found it?" she asked Pitt.
"The U.S. planned to use it as the ultimate defense system against the Soviet Union," Pitt explained. "That way they will not launch any missiles at us."
"You mean one of the reasons that you raised me was for some mineral for war purposes?" Titanic said, trying to get to
